Role summary
Recursion seeks an Executive Director of Clinical Pharmacology/Pharmacometrics to lead pharmacology strategy and execution for rare disease and oncology programs. The role combines regulatory expertise, clinical study design, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote position within a dynamic biotech environment.
What they're looking for
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, or related field; M.D. with Clinical Pharmacology expertise; or Pharm.D. with Clinical Pharmacology fellowship
- 10+ years experience in biotech or pharmaceutical drug development
- Demonstrated leadership of clinical pharmacology aspects across drug development phases
- Proficiency with WinNonlin, Monolix, NONMEM, R, or comparable modeling software
- Experience with PK, PK-PD, and PK-safety analyses including population modeling and simulations
- Track record responding to regulatory agency questions and preparing regulatory submissions
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
What you'll be doing
- Develop clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric strategies to support product development plans
- Lead modeling and simulation efforts to inform drug development decisions across programs
- Provide pharmacology input on clinical study designs from Phase 1 through Phase 3
- Author and review clinical pharmacology sections for regulatory documents and submissions
- Interface with cross-functional teams including clinical, translational, preclinical, and regulatory groups
