Role summary

Associate Director responsible for managing patient and specialty pharmaceutical data assets for commercial decision-making at Merck. Will oversee data governance, quality, and integration across therapeutic areas while partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of IQVIA LAAD, APLD, Symphony Health, Precision, and MMIT datasets
Experience with data tokenization, PHI handling, and HIPAA compliance
Proven vendor management experience and ability to influence across cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills translating complex data concepts for diverse audiences

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain data management frameworks, SOPs, data dictionaries, and governance standards
Establish data quality metrics and drive root cause analysis for data integrity issues
Manage end-to-end data flows from specialty distributors and pharmacies with SLA accountability
Build and govern patient support services data assets across full patient journey in HIPAA compliance
Support product launch readiness by constructing data infrastructure and reporting frameworks
