Role summary
This position involves operating chemical manufacturing equipment to produce pharmaceutical active ingredients and intermediates on a shift basis. The role requires competency in reactor operation, process monitoring, batch documentation, and adherence to cGMP standards within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bulk pharmaceutical or batch chemical manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write legibly in English, and perform mathematical calculations
- Respiratory clearance eligibility and ability to be clean shaven for respirator use
- Capacity for heavy physical work including handling drums up to 400 lbs
- Teamsters Local 676 union membership required
What you'll be doing
- Operate chemical production equipment including reactors, kettles, stills, filters, and centrifuges
- Monitor instruments and make corrective adjustments based on temperature, pressure, and flow readings
- Maintain accurate batch log records and properly label containers with materials and process data
- Conduct basic analytical tests and report process deviations immediately to supervisor
- Ensure workplace safety, equipment maintenance, waste disposal, and compliance with all SOPs
Compensation$31.08/hr starting rate
