Role summary
Bio-Techne seeks an Engineering & Equipment Technician to support production of microfluidic and capillary-based cartridges in a cleanroom environment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing semi-automated manufacturing equipment while collaborating with production and engineering teams.

- Proven mechanical skills with hands-on equipment maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of automation technologies including pneumatics, vacuum systems, and actuators
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical disciplines preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Familiarity with GMP and ISO regulations preferred
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities
What you'll be doing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including pick-and-place systems and liquid dispensing equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with engineering team to resolve equipment and process issues
- Participate in validation of equipment modifications and testing in production environment
- Train personnel on equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting procedures
Compensation$28.80 - $39.60 hourly
