What you'll be doing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic and mechanical equipment using hand tools and test equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial controls, computers, servo-mechanisms, and related systems
- Test electronic circuits with oscilloscopes, signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters to identify defects
- Install, modify, and maintain control panel wiring and PLC programs in collaboration with controls engineering
- Support engineering projects, equipment installations, and operator training on machine operation and setup
