Role summary
Labcorp seeks a hybrid Director to lead global payroll transformation, governance, and workforce time strategy across the organization. This role oversees enterprise-wide payroll and time initiatives, process harmonization, technology optimization, and compliance efforts across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 10+ years progressive payroll experience including global operations and project management
- 5+ years leadership experience managing payroll or cross-functional teams in multinational organizations
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and wage-hour requirements across jurisdictions
- Experience with Workday HCM/Payroll/Time or ADP payroll systems and advanced analytics tools
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), GPMI, PMP, or similar professional certification preferred
What you'll be doing
- Lead large-scale cross-functional global payroll and workforce time projects from strategy through execution
- Drive payroll harmonization, process standardization, and transformation initiatives across regions
- Identify and implement automation and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance
- Establish governance frameworks, project roadmaps, and performance metrics for operational excellence
- Lead, mentor, and develop project and operational teams fostering continuous improvement culture
