Role summary
Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Disease Strategy Finance to provide financial leadership and strategic analysis for assigned disease areas. This role partners with executive leadership to inform investment decisions, conduct valuations, and drive process improvements across the organization.

- Represent finance within disease strategy teams and develop financial analyses and reporting for assigned programs
- Provide strategic decision support for business cases and planning scenarios across multiple disease areas
- Partner with disease area executives and cross-functional team members to align financial strategy
- Coordinate with corporate and functional finance teams to ensure collaboration and consistency
- Design and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and deliver modeling, valuation, and ad hoc analyses
