Role summary
Abbott seeks a Director of Business Development for the APAC region to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and technologies. What you'll be doing
- Research, identify, and evaluate potential company, product, and technology targets aligned with Abbott's strategic objectives
- Lead due diligence assessments, manage external party interactions, and develop recommendations for senior leadership
- Develop deal structures, risk mitigation strategies, and negotiate transaction terms across various agreement types
- Lead cross-functional teams through due diligence while managing internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver presentations and assessments to senior management and serve as subject matter expert for supported business segments
