Role summary
Johnson & Johnson seeks a PhD co-op researcher for the Neuroscience DDSAI team in Cambridge to develop computational approaches for understanding disease mechanisms in neuropsychiatry. The role involves building single-cell and multi-omics atlases, applying AI/ML methods for target discovery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Strong scientific communication and presentation abilities

- Minimum 3.0 GPA; currently enrolled and available 40 hours per week

- Benchmark and apply methods to map cell-cell communication networks in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder
- Apply AI and machine learning to identify disease-associated cell states and therapeutic targets in neuropsychiatry
- Integrate single-cell discoveries with multi-omics data to support precision target identification
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present findings at scientific conferences
