Role summary

Agilent seeks a Data Governance & Quality Engineer to establish trusted, governed data assets across the Commercial Organization. The role combines governance expertise with data quality practices to support modern analytics and AI initiatives within Microsoft Fabric and enterprise platforms.

8+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, data quality, or analytics
Strong SQL skills and experience with large enterprise datasets
Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SAP, CRM, HANA, or similar enterprise platforms
Knowledge of data catalogs, metadata management, business glossaries, and stewardship frameworks
Experience defining and implementing data quality standards and monitoring frameworks
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

What you'll be doing

Establish governance standards, accountability models, and processes for Customer Master Data and commercial reporting assets
Define and maintain metadata, ownership, stewardship responsibilities, classifications, and quality requirements for critical data assets
Profile enterprise data to assess quality, identify risks, establish baselines, and define data quality rules and KPIs
Collaborate with Data Architecture, Engineering, and Analytics teams to embed governance and catalog requirements into solution design
Act as trusted advisor for system implementations and digital transformation initiatives requiring data governance oversight
