Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist III to lead operational excellence initiatives at its Grand Island manufacturing facility. Associate degree with 6+ years continuous improvement or Lean experience in manufacturing or regulated environment
Hands-on experience with Kaizen, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and standard work
Demonstrated ability to independently lead cross-functional projects and deliver sustained results
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate operational data into actionable improvements
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence without direct authority
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred

What you'll be doing

Lead improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, measurement and sustainment
Partner with operational leaders to identify and prioritize safety, quality, delivery and productivity improvements
Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping and root cause analysis activities across the operation
Coach leaders and teams in Lean and PPI methodologies to build problem-solving capability
Establish project goals, track results and collaborate with Finance to validate measurable business benefits
