Role summary
IQVIA seeks a Clinical Project Leader or Senior Clinical Project Leader for their Shanghai office to oversee global drug development initiatives. This role manages cross-functional teams, maintains client relationships, and ensures on-time delivery of contracted clinical study scope while controlling project finances.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
- 2-4 years project management experience in clinical operations
- Global project management experience within drug development industry
- Prior CRO experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of at least one therapeutic area: Internal Medicine, CNS, Gastroenterology, Immunology, Women's Health, Cardiovascular Renal Metabolic, Early Clinical Development, or Oncology
What you'll be doing
- Lead global cross-functional project teams and drive achievement of contracted milestones and quality deliverables
- Serve as primary customer contact for project progress reporting and governance communications
- Develop study management plans and ensure adherence to standard processes and compliance requirements
- Proactively manage study budgets, scope changes, and financial system accuracy
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; manage team assignments and resource requirements
