Role summary
Johnson & Johnson seeks clinical engineering and human factors interns to support the development of robotic surgical systems and innovative medical devices. - Available full-time (40 hours/week) for June 1–August 21 or June 21–September 10, 2027
- Interest or experience in healthcare technology, clinical systems, or biomedical engineering
- Permanent US work authorization without sponsorship needs
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Research disease states, treatment options, surgical workflows, and competitive technologies to inform product development
- Support user research, usability evaluations, and product assessments in simulated or clinical environments
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from studies to identify insights and communicate findings
- Assist with human factors, clinical, and risk management documentation including traceability and use-related risk assessments
- Develop clinical workflows, task analyses, and test methods to evaluate product performance and user interaction
