Role summary
Amgen seeks a Clinical Development Director to support prostate cancer drug development programs. The role involves managing clinical trial execution, regulatory interactions, data interpretation, and scientific communications across global cross-functional teams.

- MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
- Minimum 2 years clinical or basic science research experience
- 5+ years combined clinical research and industry biopharmaceutical experience preferred

- Expertise in clinical trial design, biostatistics, and scientific methodology
- Strong written and oral communication skills for complex medical concepts
- Demonstrated medical expertise in matrix organizational environments
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute global scientific and medical evidence plans for prostate cancer programs
- Provide clinical input during trial design, execution, data interpretation, and safety assessments
- Author clinical study reports, publications, regulatory submissions, and related medical documents
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and present at advisory boards and scientific meetings
- Support regulatory agency interactions and participate in licensing and product lifecycle activities
