Role summary
Becton Dickinson seeks a Clinical Consultant to support implementation of interoperability and connectivity products across the Pacific West region. This field-based role involves collaborating with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors to develop workflows, provide clinical leadership during deployments, and ensure customer success with BD Medication Systems Infusion solutions. Extensive travel (75–100%) and flexible hours required.
What they're looking for
- Nursing degree and current active nursing license
- Four to six years healthcare experience with acute care hospital background
- Nursing informatics or leadership experience preferred; pediatric, NICU, or oncology specialty
- Valid driver's license, minimum 21 years old, able to lift 40 pounds
- Current immunizations required including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, annual TB test, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
- Expert knowledge of hospital clinical workflows, data integration, and device settings
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
What you'll be doing
- Lead clinical implementation of BD medication infusion products for hospital systems
- Conduct customer meetings, conference calls, and site assessments for product deployment
- Collaborate with hospital clinicians and vendors to develop policies, workflows, and protocols
- Provide HL7 message interpretation and technical troubleshooting support to customers
- Train and mentor team members on BD products and implementation processes
