Role summary
Merck seeks a Quality Assurance Associate Specialist to support the Services group at its Elkhorn facility. The role involves quality compliance oversight, deviation and change control management, and regulatory guidance aligned with Animal Health standards, USDA regulations, and cGMP principles.

- High school diploma with 5+ years relevant industry experience, or associate degree with 3+ years, or bachelor's degree in sciences

- Foundational QA knowledge of deviation management and change control processes
- Hands-on experience with quality management systems, investigations, and risk assessments

What you'll be doing
- Provide quality compliance guidance on Animal Health standards, USDA regulations, and cGMP principles to Services IPT
- Review process deviations, change controls, and qualification documents to ensure regulatory compliance
- Serve as quality representative for deviation management and change controls within Reliance systems
- Support final packaged product release activities and batch issuance documentation workflows
- Perform internal self-inspections, site walkthroughs, and audit-readiness reviews
