Role summary
Associate Specialist supporting daily production activities in a GMP-regulated pilot plant for small-molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities include batch processing, equipment operation, process documentation, and facility compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.

- Associate degree in Process Technology or relevant technical field, or high school diploma with 4+ years pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with technical writing and office software
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts between first and second shift, onsite five days weekly
- Pilot plant or manufacturing operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and pharmaceutical safety regulations preferred
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification preferred
What you'll be doing
- Execute batch processing and wet chemistry operations including reactions, distillations, crystallizations, and filtration under scientific direction
- Maintain facility readiness through cleaning documentation, equipment setup, housekeeping, and consumable inventory management
- Participate in incident analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventative action closures
- Support process development by capturing knowledge, troubleshooting equipment, and providing input on process improvements
- Mentor new and rotational employees and promote continuous improvement through team feedback and best practice sharing
