Role summary
Merck seeks an Associate Scientist to execute downstream processing experiments for biologics drug substance commercialization. The role involves lab-scale and pilot-scale process development, technology transfer support, and collaboration with commercial manufacturing teams on late-stage biologics projects.

- Execute hands-on experiments in biologics downstream processing including lab-scale characterization and pilot-scale development
- Develop process scale-up and scale-down models for drug substance manufacturing
- Support commercial manufacturing teams during facility start-up and in-line manufacturing activities
- Author and review technical documents for Process Performance Qualification and regulatory licensure
