Role summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director to lead operational and capacity planning for a novel mRNA-based oncology therapy launching in the U.S. This role coordinates demand forecasting, manufacturing alignment, and performance analytics across a complex treatment ecosystem involving internal functions and external partners.

What you'll be doing

Lead demand planning and capacity planning for the therapy, developing patient volume projections and manufacturing demand scenarios
Partner across manufacturing, supply chain, precision medicine, and alliance stakeholders to align demand with operational readiness
Develop and maintain capacity planning and scenario modeling capabilities assessing operational constraints and business impact
Establish operational intelligence framework including dashboards, KPIs, performance models, and real-time ecosystem visibility
Drive operational excellence initiatives using analytics to strengthen planning, optimize capacity, and support scalability
