Role summary
Associate Director leading global publication strategy and team management for pharmaceutical products. Responsible for developing comprehensive publication plans, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for scientific communication and journal submissions.

- BS with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years or PharmD/PhD with 3+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical drug development experience
- Minimum 2 years publication management experience
- Strong scientific background and therapeutic area expertise
- Deep understanding of clinical development processes and outcomes measures
- Knowledge of authorship standards, Good Publication Practice, and industry best practices
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
What you'll be doing
- Lead cross-functional publication teams and develop overarching strategies with comprehensive tactical plans
- Manage publication team meetings, facilitate strategic discussions, and prepare materials and documentation
- Direct scientific communication platform and lexicon development for assigned products
- Present publication plans to management and participate in multiple internal and external strategic meetings
- Select, contract, and manage medical communications agencies and freelance writers with performance monitoring
