What you'll be doing
- Assemble, weld, solder, and x-ray medical device components using microscopes and precision tools
- Inspect x-rays and parts visually to identify and correct defects or damage
- Examine molded devices for bubbles and excess epoxy; repair using drills, reamers, and syringes
- Kit, assemble, and package finished devices with related accessories; verify documentation completeness
- Notify supervisor of supply needs and production issues; comply with FDA and quality management regulations
