Role summary
Amgen seeks an Account Manager or Specialty Account Manager to represent TEPEZZA in a North Carolina territory covering Greensboro, Chapel Hill, Durham, Pinehurst, and Fayetteville. The role involves building territory business plans, driving product demand among healthcare professionals, and managing account relationships to achieve sales goals.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales experience
- Buy-and-bill or biologic/infusion experience strongly preferred
- Sales experience in ophthalmology, endocrinology, or rare disease states preferred
- Site of care and reimbursement experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% including overnight and weekend commitments
What you'll be doing
- Develop comprehensive territory business plans to achieve and exceed annual sales goals
- Promote TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines
- Address access, reimbursement, and pull-through issues by coordinating with stakeholders and field teams
- Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information to target accounts
- Manage promotional and operational budgets while coordinating with patient services and market access teams
