Role summary
A 10-12 week internship in vaccine process research and development, focusing on upstream cell culture and fermentation for clinical manufacturing. Interns will conduct lab-scale studies, support process scale-up, and contribute to GMP campaign execution under mentor guidance.

- Enrolled in BS/BA in chemical engineering, bioengineering, biological sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology, or related field
- Proven hands-on laboratory experience and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with adaptability, positive attitude, and ability to learn new techniques rapidly
- Available full-time for 10-12 weeks starting May or June 2027
- Preferred: direct cell culture, fermentation, or upstream process development experience
- Preferred: immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, or virometry experience
What you'll be doing
- Conduct lab-scale fermentation and cell culture process development and scale-up studies
- Support in-process assays and contribute to robust, scalable vaccine production processes
- Maintain and coordinate raw material and equipment inventories for development experiments
- Participate in GMP campaign preparation, execution, and closeout activities
- Document results in written and verbal formats while maintaining detailed laboratory records
