Role summary
A 10-12 week summer internship in epidemiology and real-world evidence analytics within the Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences department. Interns will conduct literature reviews, analyze real-world health data, develop statistical models, and contribute to protocol and manuscript development across multiple pharmaceutical research locations.

- Currently enrolled graduate student pursuing PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, data science, biomedical informatics, or related field
- Completed at least 2 semesters of graduate work by May 30, 2027
- Ability to commit full-time for 10-12 weeks beginning May or June 2027
- Scheduled to return to school in Fall 2027
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Preferred experience with literature review, real-world data sources, and SAS, SQL, R, or Python
What you'll be doing
- Conduct targeted literature reviews to summarize background information on assigned topics
- Analyze real-world health data to assess quality, identify disease patterns, and develop prediction models
- Summarize and interpret study results for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to protocol development, manuscript writing, and visualization tool creation
- Present research findings at departmental meetings and professional forums
