Role summary
A 10-12 week summer internship with Merck's Animal Health Division supporting retail and e-commerce sales teams. Interns will engage in customer-facing work, product promotion, and field-based events across assigned U.S. regions.

- Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program; completion of 2+ years coursework by May 2027
- Degree focus in Animal Science, Agriculture, Ag Business, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Available for 10-12 week internship starting late May 2027; returning to school afterward
- Legally authorized to rent a car in assigned state; willingness to travel up to 50%
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad; strong organizational ability
What you'll be doing
- Support retail and e-commerce sales teams promoting animal health product portfolio and programs
- Engage customers, conduct product detailing, and execute plans to meet customer needs
- Conduct surveys, set merchandising displays, and support dealer meetings and trade shows
- Participate in field-based events providing customer education on product features and benefits
- Present summary of internship contributions to leadership at program conclusion
