Role summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks an undergraduate co-op student to support research and development of wound closure and healing devices within the Surgery division. The six-month position (January–June 2027) in Raritan, NJ involves assisting engineers with mechanical testing, prototype assembly, CAD design, and documentation for surgical technologies.

Knowledge of statistics or 3D printing/prototyping methods preferred

What you'll be doing

Attend team meetings and support active R&D projects within Ethicon Biosurgery
Perform mechanical and laboratory testing with post-testing data analysis
Create and update CAD models, parts, assemblies, and technical drawings in SolidWorks
Assist in prototype device assembly and write test protocols and design control documentation
Report business-related issues or opportunities to management level

Compensation$23.50–$52.50 per hour based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience
