Role summary
Azenta seeks a Workflow and Automation Specialist to serve as a technical consultant for laboratory automation and workflow optimization across the Americas. The role combines scientific expertise with commercial acumen to identify growth opportunities, support sales engagements, and influence product innovations for life sciences customers.

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in life science research, laboratory operations, automation, or instrumentation roles

- Strong technical communication and consultative selling abilities
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with commercial, technical, and product teams
- Understanding of laboratory workflows and automation technologies
- Familiarity with lab automation systems, robotic platforms, or sample management solutions preferred
What you'll be doing
- Identify and develop business opportunities within strategic customer accounts
- Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, demonstrations, and solution design activities
- Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to capture feedback and market needs
- Support sales teams throughout customer engagements and implementation planning
- Represent company at industry conferences and contribute to thought leadership initiatives
