Role summary
Avantor seeks a Warehouse Technician/Material Handler to manage receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in a warehouse environment. The role includes processing domestic and international shipping documentation, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining inventory control systems.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years warehousing or shipping experience, preferably manufacturing
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds using proper techniques
- OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification preferred
- DOT and IATA certification preferred
- Basic computer skills; SAP, ERP, and WMS experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Package and process orders for domestic and international shipment using freight systems
- Audit shipments for accuracy of product name, code, lot number, and quantity
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move and position goods safely
- Maintain IATA and DOT shipping certifications and complete required documentation
- Pull inventory stock, verify orders, and apply FIFO rotation and quarantine procedures
