Role summary

Absci seeks a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead end-to-end sponsor oversight of an ongoing clinical development program spanning Phase 1/2 studies and an upcoming global Phase 3 registrational trial. This senior, hands-on Study Management leader will translate clinical strategy into executable operational plans, manage global feasibility and site activation, and maintain program governance across multiple studies, CROs, and vendors.

What you'll be doing

Provide end-to-end sponsor operational leadership and accountability for Phase 1/2 and Phase 3 clinical programs
Develop integrated global operational strategy including study sequencing, timelines, country/site selection, and budgets
Lead global feasibility assessment, site placement strategy, and enrollment modeling for Phase 3 program
Manage program-level risks, dependencies, and critical path across multiple studies and vendors
Establish governance, accountability structures, and ensure delivery of development milestones
