Role summary
Validation Engineer responsible for executing equipment and utility system qualifications throughout their lifecycle at Abbott's pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ho Chi Minh City. Develops procedures, manages qualification activities including IQ/OQ/PQ phases, and supports regulatory compliance and change management initiatives.
What they're looking for
- University degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering or related discipline
- 5-10 years experience in validation and qualification of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and utility systems
- Knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, purified water systems and associated qualification protocols
- Proficient in English for technical communication and documentation
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Office and engineering software applications
What you'll be doing
- Execute full-lifecycle qualification activities including URS review, DQ support, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ and periodic requalification
- Develop and maintain SOPs, protocols and technical documentation compliant with GMP and EU-GMP standards
- Participate in capital projects and engineering changes to integrate qualification requirements during design and commissioning
- Provide technical support for deviations, CAPAs and change controls affecting validated equipment and systems
- Support internal audits, corporate reviews and regulatory inspections of qualified facilities and equipment
