Role summary
Amgen seeks an undergraduate intern for a summer 2027 data engineering role within its Technology & Medical Organizations. The intern will design and develop data pipelines, build analytics infrastructure using Python and AWS, and collaborate with architects and data scientists on enterprise data solutions.

- Completion of at least one year of college study before internship start
- Continued full-time enrollment at accredited university after internship
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in Bachelor's degree program
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
- Strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Degree concentration in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines with architects and business subject matter experts
- Build infrastructure and analytics tools using Python, SQL, and AWS services
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into enterprise data lake
- Identify automation opportunities and develop reusable frameworks for data solutions
Compensation$28.87 per hour
