Role summary
Amgen is offering undergraduate co-op positions in their Puerto Rico manufacturing operations starting January 2027. Co-op students will support quality, manufacturing, and operations teams through hands-on project work, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration while completing their bachelor's degrees.
What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled full-time in accredited bachelor's degree program with 3.0+ GPA
- Completed at least 2 years of study in engineering, data science, or life sciences disciplines
- Available for full-time co-op work and continued enrollment after program
- Authorized to work in U.S. for duration of program
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
What you'll be doing
- Measure and analyze system and process performance across operations
- Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements using technology tools
- Identify, design, and implement new processes across departments
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Support project planning, performance metrics tracking, and proposal development
