Role summary

- Proficient knowledge of US export regulations, EAR, OFAC sanctions, and ECCN classification
- Working knowledge of Canadian and EU import/export trade regulations
- Demonstrated experience implementing tariff mitigation strategies and duty reduction programs
- US Licensed Customs Broker certification strongly preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 20-30% to San Jose and other locations
What you'll be doing
- Manage day-to-day trade compliance operations for Molecular Devices in US and Canada
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, and Quality teams on compliance requirements and alignment
- Lead tariff mitigation and duty savings initiatives including free trade agreements and duty drawback programs
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve trade compliance programs, policies, and internal controls
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency and reduce regulatory risk exposure
