Role summary
This senior manager role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with opinion leaders and medical centers across the Great Lakes region specializing in vasculitis and related specialties. The position coordinates speaker programs, manages regional conference activities, and collaborates with internal teams to support TAVNEOS engagement initiatives in the rare disease inflammation space.
What they're looking for
- Doctorate degree with 2 years marketing/sales experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
- 5-10 years experience in Rheumatology, Nephrology, or Rare Disease customer-facing roles
- Proven ability to develop KOL mapping plans and build advocacy in rheumatology or vasculitis
- Experience in thought leader engagement, regional marketing, or medical affairs
- Clinical and scientific knowledge of complex disease states
- Strong relationship building and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel 50-65% by air or car; availability for evenings and select weekends
What you'll be doing
- Identify and cultivate professional relationships with regional Opinion Leaders in ANCA Vasculitis across Rheumatology and Nephrology specialties
- Manage speaker bureau relationships including training, compliance, and speaker recommendations for regional and national events
- Attend and manage brand activity at regional and national inflammation conferences, including product theaters and sponsorship budgets
- Coordinate cross-functional engagement strategies with sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams on KOL initiatives
- Lead peer-to-peer marketing initiatives including advisory boards and speaker bureau content development
