Role summary
Amgen seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead integrated planning and systems capabilities at the North Carolina site. The role harmonizes Planning and Procurement processes, oversees SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse systems, and drives planning excellence to support manufacturing and patient supply.

- Doctorate degree, or Master's with 2+ years supply chain/planning experience
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years supply chain, procurement, or operations experience

- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated leadership of integrated supply, material, or procurement planning processes
- Proficiency with SAP and/or Kinaxis RapidResponse systems
What you'll be doing
- Lead harmonization of Planning and Procurement processes to establish unified site planning approach
- Oversee SAP and RapidResponse systems configuration, maintenance, and adoption across planning functions
- Develop performance metrics and visual management to monitor plan adherence and execution risks
- Coach team members on planning fundamentals and effective system-driven decision-making
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring planning and material execution issues
