Role summary
Amgen seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead a Hyderabad-based execution team supporting global external planning operations. This role encompasses SAP transaction management, logistics coordination, master data governance, and inventory reconciliation across US, Europe, and JAPAC regions. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within a complex global supply chain environment.

- Master's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain plus 7 years supply chain or manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain plus 8 years supply chain or manufacturing experience
- Pharmaceutical or biotech supply chain expertise and GMP process knowledge
- SAP and/or RapidResponse ERP system proficiency
- End-to-end supply chain experience with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Leadership capability with ability to develop high-performing teams
- Digital mindset and continuous improvement orientation in complex matrix organizations
What you'll be doing
- Lead execution team supporting global AXP operations across SAP and RapidResponse systems
- Manage end-to-end supply chain transactions including orders, receipts, inventory, and reconciliation activities
- Oversee master data governance, setup, and maintenance across product stages and planning systems
- Coordinate global shipment booking, tracking, and logistics operations for commercial and clinical shipments
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and develop operational dashboards and KPIs
