Role summary
Staff UX Engineer role leading frontend architecture and design system strategy across Waters Software's medical instrument portfolio. Responsible for establishing scalable UX frameworks, component libraries, and engineering standards that enable consistent user experiences across multiple products.

- 8+ years software engineering, frontend development, or UX Engineering experience
- Demonstrated leadership of frontend initiatives across multiple products or platforms
- Proven expertise designing and governing enterprise-scale Design Systems and component libraries
- Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Angular Material
- Hands-on experience with Storybook or similar design system platforms
- Experience establishing frontend engineering standards and best practices
What you'll be doing
- Define and drive UX Engineering strategy across Waters Software portfolio with consistent, scalable experiences
- Lead development and evolution of enterprise Design System, component ecosystem, and Storybook platform
- Establish frontend architecture standards, interaction patterns, accessibility requirements, and design tokens
- Partner with Human Factors, Product Management, and Agile teams to translate user research into reusable UX solutions
- Mentor frontend engineers and UX practitioners while monitoring Design System adoption and platform health
