Role summary
Abbott seeks a Staff Product Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity architecture and secure design for connected medical devices within the EP division. - Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with hardware security modules, TPMs, secure elements, and TEEs
- Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
What you'll be doing
- Lead cybersecurity architecture reviews and secure-by-design initiatives for connected medical devices
- Assess firmware, hardware, and cloud systems for security vulnerabilities and design flaws
- Conduct threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessments aligned with regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute security testing strategies including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Engage with regulatory, quality, and customer teams on cybersecurity compliance and submissions
