Role summary

PathAI seeks an experienced Staff Product Manager to lead AI-powered pathology product strategy and execution. The role involves defining multi-year roadmaps, managing end-to-end product lifecycles, and partnering across machine learning, clinical, and regulatory teams to bring AI algorithms from discovery to deployment.

What they're looking for

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field
7+ years product management experience launching and scaling production AI/ML or bioinformatics products
Demonstrated experience in healthcare, life sciences, digital pathology, or biotech product development
Deep understanding of AI/ML product lifecycle including model development, dataset curation, and post-launch monitoring
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence across technical, scientific, and executive teams
Experience with SaMD and regulatory frameworks such as FDA 510(k) or CE-IVD pathways (preferred)
Subject matter expertise in oncology, histopathology, or biomarker discovery (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Define and execute multi-year product strategy and roadmap for algorithm products within disease areas
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from exploration and business case development through deployment
Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, clinicians, and pathologists to translate discoveries into clinical tools
Build business cases and drive development of novel technical and platform capabilities
Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Quality, and Regulatory teams on validation and regulatory strategies
