Role summary
Pacific Biosciences seeks a Staff Engineer for IT Infrastructure to design, operate, and secure systems supporting research and enterprise environments. - Design and administer Enterprise Linux across physical, virtual, cloud, and HPC infrastructure
- Support HPC and research-computing environments for scientific and engineering workloads
- Design and operate on-premises and public-cloud infrastructure with security and monitoring
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code
- Lead complex infrastructure initiatives and establish engineering standards and architecture patterns
