Role summary

Senior software engineer needed for the Ion endoluminal robotic system's Advanced Product Development team. This role focuses on prototyping new software features and algorithms across multiple layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced research environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional product, clinical, and engineering teams to evaluate feasibility of new technologies and applications
Prototype software features and algorithms with sufficient fidelity to iterate, test, and evaluate functionality
Develop proof-of-concept tools and workflows supporting device and user-facing experiences
Troubleshoot complex interactions between software, hardware, and electro-mechanical components
Drive projects forward with technical ownership and independence in a research-oriented environment
