Role summary
Intuitive Surgical seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex product development initiatives for surgical systems from conception through manufacturing launch. The role requires cross-functional coordination with product, clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

- 6-8 years of hardware and software product development and commercialization in medical technology
- BS degree in a scientific field or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with strong attention to detail
- Proven cross-functional leadership and influence across organizational levels
- Experience analyzing tradeoffs between product features, customer needs, manufacturability, and cost
- Project Management Certification (PMP) desired
- Software project management experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Drive portfolio of product design projects through design control processes and development phases
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets while ensuring proper scoping and resourcing
- Communicate project status, critical path, and risk areas to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, and Quality teams
- Provide performance feedback to team members and contribute to product prioritization decisions
