Role summary
Senior Materials Planner responsible for managing material availability across Illumina's instrument and spare parts portfolio. This role balances supply, demand, and inventory levels to support manufacturing, service, and customer operations while driving process improvements across the supply chain network.

- Minimum 5 years of supply chain or materials planning experience
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Life Science
- Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for all organizational levels
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification preferred

- Monitor material availability and communicate shortages or surpluses to prevent supply disruptions
- Manage inventory levels balancing customer service, operational readiness, and investment costs
- Analyze demand and supply fluctuations, communicating risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory imbalances and process improvements
