Role summary
Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer position responsible for leading lifecycle upgrades, maintenance, and optimization of PI Data Historian systems across Amgen's global manufacturing network. - 8+ years manufacturing systems engineering experience with 3+ years on PI Data Historian platforms
- Hands-on expertise with PI Data Archive, Asset Framework, PI Vision, Analyses, WebAPI, and RtReports
- Experience with PI interface technologies including OPC UA/DA, PItoPI, BACNet, RDBMS, and UFL
- Demonstrated experience leading complex system upgrades and enterprise deployments for critical operations
- Knowledge of batch interface technologies such as EMDVB, FTBatch, and EFGen
What you'll be doing
- Lead PI Data Historian lifecycle upgrades, migrations, and enhancements across manufacturing sites globally
- Serve as technical subject matter expert for enterprise PI infrastructure, ensuring high availability and compliance
- Design and implement PI solutions for data acquisition, integration, and reporting with manufacturing and IT teams
- Develop and maintain PI Asset Framework templates, analyses, and displays for enterprise and site-level use
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using PI data for process optimization and predictive analytics
