Role summary

Gilead Sciences (Kite) seeks a Senior Data Management Associate to oversee clinical data management for oncology studies from initiation through closure. This hands-on role collaborates with biostatistics, programming, and clinical operations teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across complex clinical development programs.

What they're looking for

High school diploma plus 9+ years data management experience, OR BS/BA in life science with 5+ years experience, OR MS/MA with 3+ years experience, OR PhD with 2+ years experience
Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture systems, particularly Medidata Rave and similar platforms
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical CDM concepts to non-specialists
Knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines for clinical trials and data management (preferred)
Clinical data management experience in oncology and cell therapy (preferred)
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
Familiarity with medical coding thesauri such as MedDRA and WHODD (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Oversee all phases of clinical data management for studies from startup through closeout
Lead eCRF design and preparation; review protocols for data management implementation planning
Manage multiple complex studies independently, coordinating with clinical, statistical, and operational teams
Interact with site coordinators and investigators to resolve data queries and ensure protocol compliance
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of clinical data through ongoing quality reviews
