Role summary

Amgen seeks an experienced SAP architect to design and optimize warehouse management solutions across global manufacturing and distribution operations. Bachelor's in computer science/STEM with 5-7 years SAP WM/EWM implementation experience
Expert-level SAP WM, SRM, and EWM configuration and solution design capabilities
Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EWM core processes including inbound/outbound, picking, replenishment, and inventory
Strong understanding of Logistics Execution, Shipping, and integration with EWM and Transportation Management
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
SAP EWM or S/4HANA certification preferred; Agile certification preferred

What you'll be doing

Design, architect, and optimize SAP EWM/WM solutions across Amgen's global manufacturing, packaging, and distribution network
Provide technical leadership and proactive support across multiple sites and time zones as part of global SAP expert team
Maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specs, technical designs, validation docs per GxP and FDA compliance standards
Identify and resolve data discrepancies between ERP and EWM through proactive monitoring and corrective strategies
Support interfaces between EWM and external systems such as ASRS, conveyors, and MES to ensure synchronized operations
