Professional tax qualification (CTA) or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred
Experience managing indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions including VAT and Intrastat
Strong understanding of VAT processes, risk identification, and gap analysis
Advanced Excel skills, data analysis, Power Query, and ERP systems (preferably SAP) experience
Shared Service or Global Business Services environment experience advantageous
Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or multinational corporate environment experience desirable

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams and external service providers across multiple business functions
Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of indirect tax compliance deliverables including VAT and Intrastat filings
Coordinate collection and validation of financial data for indirect tax reporting and reconciliation activities
Identify indirect tax risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies; recommend and implement remediation actions
Support tax technology initiatives and ERP enhancements to incorporate indirect tax requirements
