Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for its cardiovascular sales territory in the St. Louis area. - Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry sales experience preferred
- Specialty sales experience in cardiology, oncology, nephrology, or related therapeutic areas preferred
- Local market knowledge and established territory relationships preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred
What you'll be doing
- Deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen cardiovascular products to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization
- Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop and manage customer accounts, customize interactions based on needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
- Analyze territory performance and sales activity effectiveness; develop territory plans with District Manager
- Share best practices with colleagues and demonstrate sustained passion for patient impact throughout sales cycle
