Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular sales in the Maryland/West Virginia region. The role involves educating medical professionals about Amgen's products, driving territory sales, managing customer relationships, and navigating reimbursement challenges.

- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience

- Preferred: 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Knowledge of cardiovascular, oncology, nephrology, or other specialty disease areas and treatments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze territory performance and develop strategic plans
What you'll be doing
- Deliver clinical product knowledge and educational messaging to healthcare professionals
- Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual customer engagement
- Develop and maintain customer relationships while resolving access and reimbursement issues
- Conduct medical educational programs and schedule follow-up activities
- Analyze sales effectiveness and provide feedback on marketing strategy to District Manager
