Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for the cardiovascular territory in Gadsden, Anniston, Troy, and Opelika. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High school diploma with 6 years sales experience (Specialty Rep)
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales or healthcare clinical experience, or equivalent with Associate's or high school diploma (Senior Specialty Rep)
- Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience preferred
- Experience in cardiology or related specialty sales preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
- Local market knowledge and established territory relationships preferred
What you'll be doing
- Provide clinical product knowledge and communicate benefits to medical professionals
- Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging and educational programs
- Develop and manage customer accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts
- Analyze territory performance and develop sales plans with District Manager
- Share best practices and mentor team members on effective sales strategies
